The assembly of the truss girders made of beech wood, which form the extension of the new office building of Holzkraftwerk Basel AG, has been completed. In a special night transport from Lungern to Basel, the 37m long and 4.4m high truss girders made of 100% Swiss beech have been erected. The beech girders impress with their modern implementation in bonding using GSA-Technology and represent an innovative timber construction.
