Pilatus Flugzeugwerke: Hall in Buochs to be as big as two football pitches

One of the largest wooden hangars in Europe is currently being built in record time. Because Pilatus Flugzeugwerke is relying on automation to build the PC-24 structure, the new competence centre will provide more than 150 jobs.
The new hall will be built by Strüby Konzept AG from Seewen as a total service provider. The neue Holzbau AG, Lungern supplies the primary supporting structure, truss girders in BauBuche (length up to 34.0 m, weight approx. 16.0 t/h) and the arch girders in BSH fir.
