The athletics Lungern consists of young athletes from 2 to 7 years old. Currently the group consists of 14 boys and girls. With a lot of hard work and ambition LA Lungern trains all year round with a focus on the fun of movement / athletics. In the winter half of the year, most of the training takes place indoors, in the summer half of the year we can be found outside on the training grounds in Lungern. Our highlight is the competition season, which starts in spring. Here the children can finally show what they have practised and worked hard on their technique during the long winter sessions. To compete with the best on a regional and national level is an incentive for every drop of sweat. The disciplines sprint, 1000 metres, ball throw, high jump and long jump are the units we train the most.
Thanks to the generous support of the neue Holzbau AG, which we were able to win as main sponsor, we finally have modern competition clothing. We were allowed to buy trousers, shirt, trainer and top. The children wear the dresses with a lot of pride and with shining eyes.
